Library Catalog

The Jefferson College Library serves the academic and research needs of Jefferson students, faculty, and staff.  Located on the fifth floor, the library provides access to online resources and databases, books, journals, current textbooks, and study spaces.  The helpful staff of librarians offers assistance with research, instruction in the use of library resources, a workshop series each semester, and even free coffee and tea.

Current Users:

  • Login to MyAthens
  • For account renewals, please contact the Online Learning Librarian (below). 

New Users:

  • Register for MyAthens
  • You must use your email address.
  • You will receive an activation email from Eduserv Athens.  
  • Create a password to complete setting up your MyAthens account.
  • Login to MyAthens using your MyAthens username and password to access library resources.

Librarians @ Lunchtime is a free program of workshops available to all Jefferson students, faculty and staff. The series returns this fall with programs from August to November. The full schedule is listed below.

Workshops are held in room 501 from 12 to 1 p.m.
Free lunch for the first 10 students at each workshop.

    Getting started with MyAthens, HERO, and the Jefferson College Library resources.
  • September 13: Making CINAHL Work For You
    Tips and tricks to get the most out of CINAHL.
  • September 27: Next-Level Googling
    Navigating Google’s advanced features.
  • October 11: What Do I Do With All This Stuff?
    Using Mendeley to organize and manage your references.
  • October 25: Speaking In Code
    Understanding the basics of HTML coding and its role in your life online.
  • November 8: Off The Page
    Finding and using e-books in the library’s resources.
